Purple Gromwell 'Heavenly Blue'

Eu-dicots (True dicotyledons)
Family: Boraginaceae
Bantry Garden
View location

It is easy to see why this is the preferred garden species as, although "diffusa" implies a spreading habit, it is much more compact than our native Lithospermum purpureocaeruleum which is rather invasive in gardens.

This plant is from Greece / Turkey.
