I do not have a picture of this naturalised species but it is included here in order to provide a link to our native "Meadow Saffron" which is in Floral lmages and is often called "Autumn Crocus" - even though it isn't a crocus.

Crocus nudiflorus is found naturalized especially in NW England and Kirkcudbrightshire.
