The largest flowers I found. The wild plants at this location vary in flower size from about 10 mm to nearly 30 mm tepal length.

Bulbs from Broadleigh Gardens. I planted them on a (somewhat dry) mound (having seen the flower in such a location at Kew) - before I knew the garden already had then and also not then knowing their love of damp conditions.
