Thanks to Alan Silverside for putting me right on this one. I did have this as Ramalina siliquosa but he says:

"This is Ramalina cuspidata - smoother and tidier appearance than R. siliquosa and black right at the base.
Both species are horribly variable and need care to separate when they are growing together."
