Steart, pond near bird hides.
The ponds in the area were all very low if not completely dry. This one had enough water to support a population still but there were many broken off pieces (hence this picture) - the evidence of the dried mud around suggesting that many a dog has taken a dip this summer and thrashed around in the water ! |
