Jenny Barratt, an Archaeology student, has submitted this information: "The field which I am studying is ancient glass ... I am collecting a sample of Salicornia ash to add to the other raw materials to create the "perfect" glass, based upon an ancient Egyptian recipe." - hence the name "Glasswort" |
