French Pyrenees, approx 2000 m.
I was looking out for this and snapped it when I saw it - but now I get to looking carefully at the picture I am less sure this is what it is. Habitat and location spot on though.
Judith Hind has commented: "Yes, it's Alpine Toadflax for sure. (It comes in two forms, one with an orange throat which is the one normally pictures in books.)" |
