Mervin Nethercoat has identified this one, which "stumped" me: I think you'll find this is Dryad's Saddle (Polyporus squamosus); relatively common in most woods. I've found it mostly on Ash (Fraxinus excelsior). I've been involved with Beverley Naturalists for more years than I care to remember.
